I was 39 weeks when my friend told me to go see Nurture Acupuncture and have them help with my overdue baby. My doctor keep saying if I did not dilate by week 40, then I would be scheduled for a C-Section. I did not want to have a C-Section for my first child and I had read all the horror stories associated to having one. I met with Judy at Nurture and she gave me my first acupuncture treatment and during the treatment, I started having contractions. I went to the doctor the following day and I was already dilated to a 3. I went back one more time for a treatment and started going into labor when I left the Nurture office. I had my baby 6 hours later and did not need a C-Section. I have referred many friends to this office for care.
