After 3 consecutive miscarriages that occur about the 12th week of pregnancy, my doctor suggested I try acupuncture. I was referred to Nurture Acupuncture by a friend who had been going there for about 6 months. I met with the staff and decided to give it a try. I was now about 6 weeks pregnant and very concerned that I would in fact miscarry again because my medical doctors had thought that I had immune issues and bad egg quality. I was given herbs to help prevent the miscarriage and some dietary guidelines on what to eat and what not to eat.
